Pinch-hitter Todd Hundley and Jimmie Foxx both hit homeruns in the bottom of the 8th off Bob Lee, and the Oroville Padres win the 2008 OTL Championship with a 4-2 victory over the Framingham Rug Rats. Addie Joss piched 5-hit ball for seven inning before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in the 8th. Eddie Cicotte gave up just four hits in eight innings, and Dennis Eckersley retired the side in order in the top of the 9th.

Joe Cunningham and pinch hitter Mike Donlin both hit 2-run doubles during a 4-run outburst in the 7th inning, and Oroville evened up the Series with a 6-3 win over Framingham. George Stone had three hits and scored twice for the Padres. Lou Gehrig and Tip O'Neil each had two hits and scored a run for the Rug Rats. Looks like it will be two veteran winning pitchers in tomorrow's Game 7: Addie Joss vs Eddie Cicotte.

Christy Mathewson struckout eleven, Ted Williams and Pie Traynor hit homeruns, Traynor and Pop Lloyd had three hits apiece, and Traynor and Tip O'Niell each drove in three runs. Jimmie Foxx hit his fifth homerun of the playoffs for the Padres. After a day off tomorrow, the Series returns to Oroville on Tuesday for Game 6.
