Pinch-hitter Todd Hundley and Jimmie Foxx both hit homeruns in the bottom of the 8th off Bob Lee, and the Oroville Padres win the 2008 OTL Championship with a 4-2 victory over the Framingham Rug Rats. Addie Joss piched 5-hit ball for seven inning before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in the 8th. Eddie Cicotte gave up just four hits in eight innings, and Dennis Eckersley retired the side in order in the top of the 9th.

Joe Cunningham and pinch hitter Mike Donlin both hit 2-run doubles during a 4-run outburst in the 7th inning, and Oroville evened up the Series with a 6-3 win over Framingham. George Stone had three hits and scored twice for the Padres. Lou Gehrig and Tip O'Neil each had two hits and scored a run for the Rug Rats. Looks like it will be two veteran winning pitchers in tomorrow's Game 7: Addie Joss vs Eddie Cicotte.

Turnabout is fair play even in baseball, as the Framingham Rug Rats rout Oroville 12-1 to take a 3-2 lead in the Series. Christy Mathewson struckout eleven, Ted Williams and Pie Traynor hit homeruns, Traynor and Pop Lloyd had three hits apiece, and Traynor and Tip O'Niell each drove in three runs. Jimmie Foxx hit his fifth homerun of the playoffs for the Padres. After a day off tomorrow, the Series returns to Oroville on Tuesday for Game 6.

Jimmie Foxx led a 16-hit Oroville attack, as the Padres evened the Series with a 12-2 win over Framingham. Foxx had three hits including two 2-run homeruns and four runs scored, Joe Cunningham had three hits and scored three runs, Doggie Miller had three hits and 2 RBIs, and Sixto Lezcano had a 9th inning pinch-hit homerun. Vinnie Castilla had a double and a homerun, and drove in both runs for the Rug Rats.

Dave Parker hit a 2-run homerun, and Oroville evened the 2008 World Series at a game apiece, with an 8-4 win over Framingham. Eddie Mathews went deep for the second straight game, and Ted Williams had four hits for the Rug Rats. After a day off tomorrow, the Series shifts to Framingham for Game 3 on Friday.
