Top Fielders Honored by Sub League 2
Tuesday, September 14th, 2010: In baseball circles, a player who has good range, a good arm and good hands is a great catch. Clubs strive to be strong in the field, especially "up the middle." Solid defenders can make a difference in the outcome of tight games and tight pennant races. The Glove Wizard Awards for 2010 in the Sub League 2 go to these standout defenders:

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010: Who are the Glove Wizard Award winners? They are the guys that steal outs. They make spectacular plays, but they also consistently make the routine plays. This year in the Sub League 1 these defensive stalwarts made a name for themselves with their gloves:

TEX-AA News: The Offseason Begins
Saturday, September 4th, 2010: The cathedrals of baseball are silent. Another Texas League season is in the books and what a season it was! The champion has been crowned and the winners sent home to decorate their trophy cases. The fans have been left with many exciting memories to recall over the offseason. League awards will be announced over the coming weeks, but while players head for vacations and the ballparks are empty, there is plenty going on behind the scenes.

The offseason is a time for baseball's front office gurus to turn their attention to getting key players under contract, making key financial decisions and for laying the groundwork for next year's campaign.
