Monday, September 20th, 2010: The 2010 postseason is over and the baseball landscape is silent. But beneath this veneer of serenity, a tension is building. Pacific Coast League clubs are preparing for a long offseason of trades, speculation, contract negotiations and preparations for next year. While it won't be baseball, exactly, onlookers will grudgingly take it as a substitute until teams head into preseason camps.

 | Village Shires Broncs Capture Round 3
Saturday, September 18th, 2010: Village Shires did well in regular season play, but they did even better in the postseason -- they won the whole shebang, finishing off the Vancouver Occidentals in the Round 3 4-3 to claim the crown for the 1st time.
In the elimination game today at Tempest Ballpark, the Broncs polished off Vancouver 1-0 to win the Pacific Coast League championship.
In the American Division Northest pennant race, Village Shires compiled a 76-54 record and came in first. |

Friday, September 17th, 2010: Today at Tempest Ballpark Joe Unknown was on target and in command. The Village Shires hurler racked up 16 strikeouts in a 1-0 triumph over Vancouver. Unknown had 1 walk and gave up 2 hits in knocking off the Occidentals.
