2009 National League MVP:
It was a day to remember for St. Louis's Ed Delahanty, who won the National League MVP Award today. It put the finishing touches on what has been a tremendous season for the slugger. This year "Big Ed" hit .367, with 11 homeruns and 93 RBIs. He's 5th in the National League in batting and SLG!
2009 National League Cy Young Award:
All the hard work finally paid off for Oceanside's Pete "Grover Cleveland" Alexander. The right-hander was named the Cy Young Award winner in the National League today. This season Alexander compiled an ERA of 2.91, going 19-8 in 33 starts. He fanned 212 while giving up 217 hits in 238.0 innings. Alexander pitched three shutouts and 6 complete games. He's 3rd in the National League in ERA and tied for 3rd in wins!
2009 National League Fireman of the Year
Oroville's premier closer, Dennis Eckersley, wins his 4th consecutive National League Fireman of the Year Award. "Eck" saved 44 games this year, while compiling an ERA of 1.54. He walked only 10 batters in 76 innings, while striking out 73.
2009 National League Rookie of the Year
Levi Meyerle will never forget his first full season. The National League was convinced that Seattle's 30 year old third baseman should be the Rookie of the Year in 2009. This year Meyerle drove in 99 and scored 92 runs while batting .386 with 15 taters. He's 1st in the National League in batting!
2009 National League Manager of the Year
The National League Manager of the Year for 2008 is Syracuse's Vince Loffredo. Vince led his Amazin' Mets Team team to a 93-69 record, and the National League's Lonestar Division title.
2009 American League MVP:
Wilmington's centerfielder Billy Hamilton had a fabulous season as well, no doubt about it. The American League shared this opinion and named him the MVP for 2009! His season numbers are: .388 AVG, 241 hits, 43 doubles, and 18 triples, along with 91 RBIs and 139 runs scored. He's 1st in the American League in runs scored, and his 87 stolen bases ranked him 2nd!
2009 American League Cy Young Award:
Glen Wilton's left-hander Ferdie Schupp was untouchable all year long. His work paid off today as the American League named him the Cy Young Award winner! Schupp has a record of 23-6 this season, with an ERA of 3.15. In 251.1 innings, he was able to strike out 255 batters. Ferdie is 1st in the American League in Wins, and 6th in ERA!
2009 American League Fireman of the Year
The American League's Fireman of the Year Award this year goes to Ryne Duren! Wilmington's ace closer saved 45 games, walking 50 and striking out 68 in 88.0 innings.
2009 American League Rookie of the Year:
Al Brazle was named the American League Rookie of the Year winner today. New Canaan's pitcher put up pretty good numbers for a rookie this year. This 34 year old kid will probably have a long and successful career! His ERA of 2.97 helped him to a 17-7 record this year. He struck out 118 and walked 37 in 199.2 innings. Al has pitched 2 shutouts and 6 complete games. He's 2nd in the American League in ERA and 5th in wins!
2009 American League Manager of the Year:
Gary Brown of the New Canaan Brown Bombers wins his first American League Manager of the Year Award. The Brown Bombers won 93 games, capturing the American League's Northwest Division Title.

The 2008 National League MVP winner has been announced. It's Motown's centerfielder Hugh Duffy who really had a great offensive year. His season features a batting average of .384 (246 hits in 641 AB), 62 doubles, 11 triples and 10 taters. Duffy collected 59 RBI and 115 runs as well. He's 1st in the National League in batting!
2008 National League Cy Young Award:
Babe Adams will never forget this year. His dominating season convinced the National League to name Lafayette's right-hander the Cy Young Award winner of 2008. Babe has a record of 20-11 this season, with an ERA of 2.54. In 284 Innings he was able to strike out 220 batters. He has 5 complete games and one shutout. He's 3rd in the National League in ERA and 1st in wins!
2008 National League Fireman of the Year
Oroville's premier closer, Dennis Eckersley, wins his third career National League Fireman of the Year Award. "Eck" saved 47 games this year, while compiling an ERA of 1.35. He walked only 14 batters, and struck out 68 in 80 innings.
2008 National League Rookie of the Year
Cabrini's pitcher Lady Baldwin has worked hard to reach the big leagues. His work paid off today as the National League named him the Rookie of the Year winner! His ERA of 2.68 helped him to a 17-8 record this year. He struck out 197 and walked 24 in 265 innings. He has 10 complete games and 5 shutouts. He's 8th in the National League in ERA and 9th in wins! Getting an award is a nice way to start a career.
2008 National League Manager of the Year
The National League Manager of the Year for 2008 is Portland's Don Houston. Don led his Gladiator Team team to a 101-61 record, and the National League's Lonestar Division title.
2008 American League MVP:
The 2008 American League MVP winner has been announced as well. It's Glen Wilton's second baseman Rogers "Rajah" Hornsby who really had a great offensive year. Roger is hitting .339 this year, with 196 hits in 578 at bats. He has driven in 85 runs, slugging .529.
2008 American League Cy Young Award:
Awards may not be the most important thing for Christy Mathewson, but Framingham's right-hander smiled as he was named the American League Cy Young Award winner for th4e second straight year. In 39 starts this year, Christy struck out 229 batters in 289.2 innings of work. His ERA is 2.42, his record 18-8. He has 8 complete games and 3 shutouts. He's 2nd in the American League in ERA and 4th in wins!
2008 American League Fireman of the Year
The American League's Fireman of the Year Award this year goes to Frank Dipino! Louisville's ace closer saved 36 games, with only 26 walks and 68 strikeouts in 86.d1 innings.
2008 American League Rookie of the Year:
The Ghosts of '69's Toad Ramsey smiled as he was named winner of the American League Rookie of the Year Award. Opposing players hit .208 against Toad this season. While posting an ERA of 3.28 he went 19-11 in 39 starts, fanning 257 and walking 102 hitters. Toad has pitched one shutout and one complete game. He's 2nd in the American League in wins!

Silver King was named the National League Cy Young Award winner today. Syracuse's right-hander put up fabulous numbers this year which earned him the highest award a pitcher can receive. His ERA of 3.02 helped him to a 20-10 record this year. He struck out 186 and walked 31 in 247.2 innings. He's 1st in the National League in wins!
2007 National League Fireman of the Year
Oroville's premier closer, Dennis Eckersley, wins his second career National League Fireman of the Year Award. "Eck" saved 43 games, while compiling an ERA of 1.34. He walked only 12 batters, and struck out 55 in 67 innings.
2007 National League Rookie of the Year
The National League Rookie of the Year winner was announced today, with Seattle's third baseman Levi Meyerle earning the trophy for putting up the best numbers among rookies in his league. His season numbers are: .343 AVG, 206 hits, 42 doubles, 5 triples and 11 taters, along with 90 RBI and 91 runs scored. He's 6th in the National League in batting!
2007 National League Manager of the Year
The National League Manager of the Year for 2007 is Paul Sapp. Paul led his Cabrini Green Acres team to a 103-59 record, and the National League's Heartland Division title.
2007 American League MVP:
The MVP in the American League was handed to Wilmington's 3rd baseman George Brett! Brett hit 15 homeruns this year while batting .364. He adds 54 doubles, along with 96 runs scored and 99 RBIs. He led the American League in batting!
2007 American League Cy Young Award:
The American League Cy Young Award winner was announced today as well, with Framingham's right-hander Christy Mathewson taking home the desired trophy. He certainly earned it, he struck fear into hitters all year long. This season Mathewson compiled an ERA of 3.55, going 20-9 in 38 starts. He fanned 209 while giving up 256 hits in 268.2 innings. Christy has pitched 2 shutouts and 6 complete games. He's 1st in the American League in wins!
2007 American League Fireman of the Year
The American League's Fireman of the Year Award this year goes to Joe Sambito! Wilmington's ace closer saved 42 games, with only 12 walks and 60 strikeouts in 71 innings.
2007 American League Rookie of the Year:
The 2007 American League Rookie of the Year winner is from New Canaan this season. Benny Kauff put together impressive numbers for a rookie en route to win the first major award of his career. Let's hope more will follow for this 26 year old ballplayer. Benny has gone 181 for 638 (.284) this season, hitting 9 taters and driving in 66 runs, and scoring 94 times.
2007 American League Manager of the Year:
Jay Pope of the Wilmington Powerhouse was named the American League's 2007 Manager of the Year. The Powerhouse had the best OTL record this year, winning 104 games, while losing only 58, capturing the American League's Dixie Division Title. Wilmington went on to win the 2007 OTL World Series. This is the second year in a row a team from the AL's Dixie division has won the OTL Title!

He's 2nd in the National League in batting and 3rd in RBI!

Zulu's right-hander Stan Coveleski was untouchable all year long. His work paid off today as the National League named him the Cy Young Award winner! Stan has a record of 20-10 this season, with an ERA of 2.25. In 272.1 Innings he was able to strike out 43 batters. Stan has pitched 5 shutouts and 9 complete games. He's 2nd in the National League in ERA and 1st in wins!

He's 1st in the American League in OBP, and 6th in homeruns!

Awards may not be the most important thing for Cherokee Fisher, but Wilmington's right-hander smiled as he was named the American League Cy Young Award winner. Opposing players hit .235 against Cherokee this season. While posting an ERA of 1.91 he went 25-7 in 40 starts, fanning 41 and walking 27 hitters. Fisher has pitched 4 shutouts and 9 complete games. He's 1st in the American League in ERA and 1st in wins!

Harry Krause was named the American League Rookie of the Year winner today. Florida's pitcher put up pretty good numbers for a rookie this year. A season for the ages earned Galveston's centerfielder Mickey Mantle the National League MVP this year. Mantle batted .308, and drove in 115 runs, 2nd in the National League. His .559 Slugging Percentage was tops in the NL, and he was 3rd in homeruns with 34!

All the hard work finally paid off for Denny Driscoll of the Zzyzx Geodes. The southpaw was named the Cy Young Award winner in the National League today. In 35 starts this year Denny struck out 51 batters in 235.2 innings of work. His ERA is 2.21, his record 21-5. He has 6 complete games and 2 shutouts. He's 1st in the National League in ERA, and 1st in wins!

Texas Mudhens pitcher Russ Ford has worked hard to reach the big leagues. His work paid off today as the National League named him the Rookie of the Year winner! This season Ford's record was 14-5 in 36 starts. He fanned 135 in 259.2 innings. Ford lead the NL in quality starts with 30, and his 2.43 ERA was 2nd in the NL behind Cy Young winner Denny Driscoll!

Mike Bishop is this year's Manager of the Year in the National League. Bishop led his Zzyzx Geodes to a a 94-68 record, and the title in the NL East Division.

This season Bond compiled an ERA of 2.77, going 21-5 in 34 starts. He fanned 47, and walked only 9 batters. He has 4 complete games and one shutout. Bond was 7th in the American League in ERA, and 1st in wins!
2004 American League Rookie of the Year:
Rookie of the Year in the American League is Ed "Cannonball" Morris of the Zulu Cannnibal Giants. Morris pitched 193 innings, winning 13 and losing 7. He struckout 95 and walked 24.
2004 American League Manager of the Year:
Jim Devlin of the Florida Pelicans was named the American League's Manager of the Year for the second year in a row. The Pelicans won 95 and lost 67, good enough to snag the American League's Western Division Title. Florida went on to down Framingham in the ALCS, and topped off their season winning the 2005 OTL World Series!

2003 National League Cy Young Award:
The National League Cy Young Award winner was announced today, with Springfield's right-hander Guy Hecker taking home the desired trophy. He certainly earned it, he struck fear into hitters all year long. This season Hecker compiled an ERA of 2.34, going 24-7 in 35 starts. He fanned 88 while giving up 228 hits in 284.1 innings. He has 16 complete games and 5 shutouts. He's 5th in the National League in ERA and 1st in wins!

Oroville's pitcher Toad Ramsey has worked hard to reach the big leagues. His work paid off today as the National League named him the Rookie of the Year winner! Oroville's Warren Peters was named Manager of the Year in the National League. Peters skippered the Padres to a 109-53 record. The Oroville Padres topped off their successful season by winning the 2003 OTL World Series.

Wilmington's right-hander Ed Walsh was untouchable all year long. His work paid off today as the American League named him the Cy Young Award winner! Opposing players hit .226 against Ed this season.
