OROVILLE - Bill Burns scattered five hits, Jimmie Foxx had three hits, including a homerun two RBIs and three runs scored, and Hank Aaron had three hits and two RBIs, in leading Oroville to their 10-1 victory over Woodlands. The Padres will meet Jimtown in the NLCS.

The GHosts of '69 win the series 3-0.

FRAMINGHAM - Hal Trosky hit a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 8th, and with two outs in the bottom of the 9th, two singles and a walk loaded the bases for Lou Gehrig, and "The Iron Horse" delivered his third hit of the game, a single to center driving in Buddy Rosar and Pie Traynor, giving Framingham the 6-5 win over Glen Wilton. The Rug Rats will face the GHosts of '69 in the ALCS.

WOODLANDS - Bill Barrett doubled in two runs, Jimmie Foxx and Hank Aaron had two hits and RBI each, and Cy Seymour also drove in a run, as Oroville downed Woodlands 5-2 to even their series at two games each. Biz MacKey and Herman Long each drove in a run for the Brown Bombers.

JIMTOWN - Bruce Campbell led off the bottom of the 9th with a single. Jack Glasscock followed that with a double down the right field line, and when the relay throw went wide of the plate, Glasscock scored, giving Jimtown the 3-2 victory over Zulu. The Jackhammers now advance to the NLCS to play the winner of the Woodlands-Oroville series..

GLEN WILTON - John Clarkson pitched a brilliant 2-hitter, and Framingham shutout Glen Wilton 2-0, to send the ALDS to a deciding 5th game tomorrow. Ted Williams and Hal Trosky had two hits and an RBI each to lead the Rug Rats.

WOODLANDS - In the bottom of the 8th, pinch-hitter Benny Kauf doubled in a run, Baby Doll Jacobson singled in a run, and pinch-hitter Augie Galan doubled in two runs, as Woodlands rallied to beat Oroville 4-1. Jacobson had three hits, and Silver King pitched eight innings of 4-hit ball for the Brown Bombers.

SANDY, UT. - Wilmington took a 4-1 lead into the bottom of the 9th, but the GHosts of '69 came from behind to score four runs in the bottom of the 9th, edging Wilmington 5-4, and sweeping the series 3 games to 0. The GHosts now wait to see who they will play in the ALCS, Framingham or Glen Wilton. Bob Ferguson had three hits, and Rick Monday had two hits to lead the GHosts. Ed McKean and Mark McGwire hit homeruns for the Powerhouse.

JIMTOWN - Zulu scored six times in the 8th inning, and defeated Jimtown 11-4. Vern Stephens homered and drove in four runs, Fred Dunlap went 4-for-4 and Jesse Burkett had three hits for the Cannibal Giants. Steve Brodie had three hits, and Lave Cross drove in a pair of runs for the Jackhammers.
